Terms of Service
1. The service
EZ Voucher provides software intended to assist authorized users with repetitive voucher-entry tasks. EZ Voucher automates data entry into the Alabama OIDS voucher system, but it does not review, verify, certify, attest to, or submit any voucher. The attorney remains responsible for reviewing all entries, complying with applicable billing rules, verifying the accuracy and completeness of the voucher, and completing any certification and submission required by OIDS.
2. Eligibility and authorized access
You may use the Alabama version only if you are authorized to access the Alabama OIDS system and your use of EZ Voucher is permitted by applicable law, court rules, agency rules, professional obligations, and agreements governing the systems you access. You may not use EZ Voucher to obtain or facilitate unauthorized access to any third-party system.
3. No affiliation
EZ Voucher is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the Alabama Office of Indigent Defense Services or the State of Alabama.
4. Trial and subscriptions
Eligible users may receive a one-voucher trial. Trial eligibility is subject to technical and account controls designed to prevent repeated free trials. After the trial, continued use of subscription-protected functionality requires an active paid subscription.
The initial Alabama subscription price is $49 per month, plus applicable taxes, unless a different price is clearly displayed at checkout. During an active subscription, the subscription price includes unlimited vouchers and billing entries. Subscription billing is handled through Stripe. You may manage or cancel your subscription using the billing tools made available through EZ Voucher. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not ordinarily create a refund for a period already billed, except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.
5. User responsibility
EZ Voucher is an automation aid only. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, reasonableness, and permissibility of information entered into a voucher. EZ Voucher does not certify or submit vouchers on your behalf. You must review the resulting voucher and complete all OIDS verification, certification, attestation, and submission steps yourself before seeking payment.
6. Account security
You are responsible for safeguarding your EZ Voucher account, email account, device, browser profile, and OIDS credentials. Do not share credentials in violation of applicable rules or agreements.
7. Acceptable use
You may not reverse engineer the service except to the extent applicable law prohibits such a restriction; interfere with service operation; circumvent licensing or trial controls; use the service to access systems without authorization; or use EZ Voucher in a manner that violates applicable law or professional obligations.
8. Availability and changes
We may update the extension as third-party websites, browsers, and billing workflows change. Because EZ Voucher interacts with systems we do not control, functionality can be affected by changes made by Chrome, OIDS, network providers, or other third parties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
9. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, or fitness for a particular billing outcome. EZ Voucher does not provide legal advice, accounting advice, or a guarantee that any voucher or billing entry will be approved or paid.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EZ Voucher, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of data, rejected vouchers, delayed payments, or losses caused by third-party systems. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of EZ Voucher, LLC arising out of or relating to the service or these Terms will not exceed the total subscription fees actually paid by you to EZ Voucher, LLC during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, abuse, attempted circumvention of licensing controls, security risks, unlawful activity, or material violation of these Terms.
12. Governing law and venue
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to EZ Voucher or the service are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. To the extent a dispute is brought in court, you agree that exclusive venue will lie in the state courts located in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, or, where federal subject-matter jurisdiction exists, the federal court serving Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.
